It is OVER

So glad i survived through 2 terms. It's finally over and a short but well-deserved break is here! Woohoo!!!

What's In and What's Out

It's the crazy period for all people in my profession right now. I'm literally buried under piles of worksheets. I dare say I have been working hard (extremely) till I had dry eyes now. Doc advises me to look away from anything every 20-30 minutes and reminded me to keep blinking my eyes. I'm gonna stay away from eye make-up the next week too to risk any chance of infection. So i'm going to throw in my spectacles to hide my ugly eyes & throw out my mascara for next wk.

Spiritually wise, I'm still swimming in a pool of negativity. Since I need to have full concentration work-wise, I'm going to throw out the negativities and throw in more work.

I wish I can also:

- throw in more clothes, shoes, bags
- throw out more thoughts, stress, feelings

Done for the Day

Am done with the lesson planning. Gonna take a hot shower and spend the remaining hours on my bed, thinking about my K-drama before drifting off to lala~land. Tomorrow onwards, I'll be devoting my energy & mind back to work again. I'll save the K-drama till Thursday if work allows. Seriously, those scenes keep flashing in my mind and I CAN'T wait to get sick of the drama so that I won't be distracted.

Have some photos to post but I guess that gotta wait till I have more time on my hands. Right now, work is occupying a huge amount of my time and life too. Let's just hope that the year-end bonus will be rewarding. I hope it will be rewarding enough to send me on a jet-plane off to the dim-sum country.

After a week of hiatus

I'm going back to work tomorrow. The 1-week holiday is over now! boooooo!

Well, technically speaking I'm not entirely away from work for the past week. I'm working from home actually. With the worksheets and compo markings and planning of lesson and materials, this is hardly a break for me.

Term 4 is scary to many. R U S H seems to be the word for all.

Happy Teacher's Day Part 1

I wasn't in the staff room when the office asked for me. Popped down after my class and I was asked to pick up this little bundle of joy.

I was kinda surprised coz it was way too early to be a birthday gift. It was actually a Teacher's Day gift from my dearest boyfriend. I can't help but smiled sweetly non-stop for the next 15 minutes before dashing for my next class.

I love lil' surprises like this. I love how the sunflower brightens up my table, how the smiley ballon "smiles" at me and of coz, the box of chicken essence, which was an additional order.

The inflatable ballon that attracted some attention even from my pupils when they walked past the staff room while on their way home. You see, im sitting near the glass door and they always pay attention to my table. They went smth like" Ms Khim, how come there's a big ballon on your table?" I didn't know what to tell them because "boyfriend" to them has a totally different meaning at their age.

I love the sunflower and the butterfly on the plant. The orange roses just complement so well.

The silly boyfriend who does such lovely things. He might irritate me when those wake-up calls went unanswered but he always surprises me with all these lil stuff. This just reminds me of the time when we just started dating. 6+ years and things never change.
